Google is most trustworthy and preferable Search Engine that provides best and high-quality website on its top search result page. In this Post I am going to give you What is SEO and How it works | Google SEO Guide for beginners and step by step Optimization of Blog/website.

So let’s Start with the Introduction.

What is SEO and How It Works?

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. All major search engines such as Google, Bing, and Yahoo have primary search results, where web pages and other content such as videos, etc are shown and ranked based on what the search engine considers most relevant to the query. Payment isn’t involved, as it is with the inorganic result.

We can understand this from this example – I have searched on Google for Top 10 games of Android. Google gave me the result relevant to the keywords that I used for the search. Websites that show up on the SERP(search engine result page) are relevant to the keywords that I used for the search and I find my answer.

Google indexes all the websites which are relevant to my keywords and show me the result. And, those websites which are not relevant to the keywords don’t show me on the SERP.

That’s how SEO works!

Search Engine Result contains two types of results-

1. Inorganic results – which are paid advertisements and advertisers pay per click to Google whenever a users click on it.

2 Organic results – These are not paid but who have to optimize your web pages.

Why is it necessary to Optimize a website for Search Engine?

In present, 10 million blogs are published per day on Google. So, the probability is too much that our blog will be lost in this crowd and nobody sees it. It is important that we optimize our blog/website and make search engine friendly so that it comes to the top of Google search result and more visitors come to it.
